On my srx is the belt too supposed to be below the edge of the clutch? It sits down about 1/8 inch from top of belt to edge of clutch. My polaris's always had the belt sticking above the clutch, just checking...

I also have a helix I would like to know the angles on. I could text someone the pics of it. 218-780-0460 just ask for helix pics and Lmk If you know the angle...

the belt is suppose to sit a little above the secondary. i think mines about an 1/8" above.

they are usually .5 and 1.0 mm washers. If you have something laying around, will do..as long as the opening is large enough.I guess I can get of my azz and go to the garage and snap a pic or 2..lol

That was perfect blue! Maybe the belt sitting low is a reason my midrange punch seemed kind of weak last year. Will get some shims and try it again! :)

i think i got the belt set just about perfect, if i run my finger from the top of the clutch sheave, i can just feel the belt cogs sticking above the top. not a whole lot, but definitely sticking above. going to go out and try tomorrow hopefully, might add a thin shim, might not. will have to see what the speeds and how the midrange feel :) first ride of the season coming soon, sucks finding broken parts before you even get out to ride and have like 2.5-3 feet for the past month...
