Something doesn't sound right at all, I was going to tell you about the transfer rod bolts, but your already on that hmm??
compress it with a ratchet strap and you just have to find the sweet spot
Was the suspension taken apart where something was put together wrong? Something isn't right if your having that many problems.

sounds like your rear linkage is flipped wrong. If its wrong, the front of the rear shock is up in the air (on its own) and the rear linkage is resting against 2 idler wheels. If its down, the front of the rear shock is between the rails (on its own) and the idlers on the rear shock are above the shock and sitting on the rails. You want it down to install properly

My thoughts as well. This will fool you.

your rear shock should be above and behind your rear H-arm then angle down toward the front of the sled to end up under the shaft with the 2 small wheels....... if its right your shock and the linkage on either side should make an X....
When I install mine I hang the rear end 2-2 1/2ft off the floor put the front bolt in on both sides, then lay a 2x4 across the frame rails to hold a small floor jack and jack it up really carefully at the very end of the shock where it bolts to the suspension to line up the middle hole. Once I have the middle bolt in, I lower the rear of the sled 'till the rear hole is lined up.
