I replaced by belt with a new 8dn and it was squeeling. Thanks to some early post this week, I cleaned the belt in the sink with soap/water and then removed the washere from the secondary. Much better now. Before the sled would loose acceleration at about 70mph. Was the belt sitting wrong in the clutches to cause this? Also my steering felt heavy and had little traction in the rear. I checked my limiter straps and there was almost 1.5 in of thread from the nut, is that right? Well anyways I loosen it up to about half that 3/4in and seems better. Went for a test run in the hay field and had to let up halfway to leave room for braking. I hit 70-80 super fast, seconds it felt!!
