yamaha sx 700 air pocket in coolant system

i took my to the local dealer and he is saying that it is the headgasket but originally he said it wasnt but that would be the next thing to try ill let you know when i get it back if this fixed it
 
I have just gone thru this on my sxr600.Rebuilt motoe some 500 miles agao.bleed system and all.Now the other day I am getting temp light..I removed rad cap and idled the motorfor around 20 minutes,see coolant is moving..capped it again..ran it more and shut down.Exchanger are warm,today went for a 40 km ride..no light,exchangers warm..seems good.Looked at coolant bottle and it dropped some 2 ".Will try again tomorrow and see what gives.If coolant bottle raise in level..that means leaking head gasket I guess..
