I know I know, I'm sure we all have gone over this a hundred times but I've looked through many old posts and can't find a solid answer to my question...
96 Vmax 600 XT
Will a 1" picked track fit with stock drivers? Does have the stock Pro-action plus rear skid. If not what is the max picked height I can go with stock drivers?

I know this is an old thread and I don't mean to hijack,but I'm in the same situation.Right now I have a 1.25 ripsaw in the xt now I know I can't stud but the ripsaw is in pretty rough shape and I sure miss having stud's even if they were in the stock track.
I've been looking at the kimpex ultimate traxtion with pre-drilled hole's,it is available with.75 or 1.00 lug's.Was wondering if more people could chime in on if it is safe to go with the 1.00 with stud's. I believe the stocker is .75 and there was'nt any problem's with stud's and no rear heat exchanger protector.

A 1 in lug w/ studs will be just the ticket. Goferit
1.0 Studs w/ studs will be fine. I used that on my SXR with no probs...

just finished installing that same track the other day and waiting on the double backers to finish the 144 studs..

Thank's for the reply's everyone! I think i'll go for it with either the kimpex ultimate traxtion or the camoplast hacksaw with pre-drilled hole's.
One more question,does the 96 vmax xt and let's say a sxr share the same clearance for lug height?
