That #6 may just be a part of your crankcase. It is one of the numbers on the bottom end that specifies torque sequence! You probally did throw a rod or lost a crank bearing
SRXROBBO said:ok, in the process of removing my cylinder head i dropped a bolt into the belly pan, reach down to get it and hmmm.....i notice a couple of chunks of aluminum. Hard to describe these broken pieces, but one clearly has 6 stamped on it. They look to have a smooth curved section to them and are grooved very badly. Im not sure if this is a piece from my crankcase? the sled ran normal with no crazy noises until i noticed it staming again. To me the pieces look like i threw a rod through the block, or scattered a crank......but it ran ok.....i don't know.

i will, i don't think it threw a rod. I removed the head and the piston moves up and down in the cylinder smoothly......i think it seized a bearing on that cylinder and cooked its way through the case.

yea, the leaking oring allowed antifreeze into the case......burned up the bearing on the pto side and right through the case. I'm short on cash, and really cant afford to fix it. Looks to be an expensive repair......just my luck.
