I'm looking on ebay right now for some exhaust springs. I need 5 of them. The spacing required to hold the pipes is 2 1/2" apart. Can I get away with a 1 5/8"? Will it stretch that far?

could be a little difficult to stretch them that much.I had a couple 1 5/8" for my SXR pipe to canister..could not get them to hook 1 side to the other ,even using large vise grips.Took them to the vice,locked one end in..the other with the vise grip and pulled like hell a few times and stretched them out more.Now they go on with ease..lol
