Would probably tell her it's either her or the sled gets put down there. Then I would be living in the basement, which I wouldnt complain about!

nice looking sled. how many miles until it broke on you for the first time? dad had a 96 xt 500 that he had... I think like 13k miles on it and only traded it as he liked the proaction sleds and he was starting to lose compression in it. great sled though, and I think he misses the heck out of it!

2200 miles on it now but it was just a speedo cable. my hood went all the way to the ground when I opened it one day. When I closed it the cable was pinched. A few miles later it broke. never left me stranded though.

What size windshield is that? Do you know what brand it is? I was looking at going to a taller windshield on my '95 Vmax but haven't seen any pictures of what the taller windshields look like. Yours looks good and a bit more functional than the stock one.
