1999 srx 700

hello all, i just bought a 1999 srx, its totally stock only 3k miles. just wondering if there are any cheap upgrades i could do to get a lil more power. i has thinking reed spacers, and maybe silencer but then i hear silencer's lose power? i'm not looking to spend a ton of $$$ maybe under $300 i'm mechanicly inclined however im lost when it comes to these clutch's.

The head gasket mod is for SXs + SXRs "Red Heads"....not SRXs.

IMO:

Leave the engine stock...check the tech pages for clutching set up recommendations...best bang for the buck!

don't do the silencer. just check out the tech pages and pick one of turks clutch setups and roll w/that.

ok, thanks, any picture diagram for how to for dummys? ive never taken a clutch apart before so i have NO idea what i'm doing in there.
