Insurance?


Wow, you guys have it made for insurance.
Here in Ontario we pay about $300.00 a year just for liability.
Our insurance rates are going through the roof.
 
I just started my full coverage today through gieko(?)

01 SXR700 $135.00
00 SRX700 $145.00
 
for riders in on. try td bank for sled insurance. my bro got a quote for $175.00 for fire and comprehensive on a 2002 viper. last season he was payin $300+ for plpd on his viper.
 
Some companies have outrageous pricing...I just got a quote from an agent who is with Progressive, and I was quoted for $1800 for full coverage. I could get lower with having a car and home on the policy also, but wow, $1800 is insane for a snowmobile that is not even worth $3000!
 
I'm in Ontario and I don't think my rates are too bad.

2002 Viper $244.00 ($90.00 liability, $134.00 fire and theft)
1992 Vmax4 $144.00 ($90.00 liability, $54.00 fire and theft)

One of the reasons I went with my current insurance company was the reasonable sled rates. They indicated to me that they just offer the sled insurance to their home/automobile customers as a service.
 
I'm paying $48 for liability on a 97 VMax 600 in Michigan thru State Farm. Home owners with them also... but my agent told me it would be the same regardless...

It was like $160 for full coverage if I remember right... spotless driving record probably helps. And I'm over 25.... WAY over
 
2003 Viper sx 700CC!

I live in ontario canada and I pay $400 a year canadian for 1 million Liability,300 deductable on fire and theft and collision. I just have my sled with td bank. I run full coverage, since now we have no fault insurance, doesn't matter what happens you are responsible for fixing your own vehicle, if it is in an accident.
 
I just paid my insurane to state farm in here in pa. I do have my jeep with them but this is a seperate policy, but for my 02 viper was only $26 liability for the year and i upgraded to full coverage with a $500 deduct for $145 more. hope this helps.
 
when I had my sled insured, it was a rider on the home owners, I think full coverage was a couple of hundred
 
Flat rate liability with Primmum through Liberty Mutual, ...$48 for each of three sleds. I opted for just liability and use a lot of locks and cables.
 
Hey Guys In 2001 I Purchased A Sxr 700 (2001) And The Bank Forced Me To Buy Full Coverage Insurance Because They Claimed That It Was A Purchase For More Than 10,000 Dollars. Holy Shit It Cost Me $1385.00 I Was Shocked So I Took The Policy Out For A Month And Cancelled It. Threres Ways Around Everything. Had To Tell Ya About It.
 
Canadian Insurance

I got insurance (fire, theft and Liability) in Ontario for $157 CAN from tdinsurance.com or primmun.com (same company). They wanted $261 with collision. Excellent rates for here. I didn't like the two to four week waiting period though. For a 1999 SRX 700.
