Hey Canfield u said the motor was Brand new? I would run it some more to get it nice and broke in first. You might not have to take out as much weight as u think. Just another idea for you. And get a Green spring. You don't want any cat parts in that beast.

Think im going to run it a little more before make big changes. Motor is new dont no much about who built it. but has been done top to bottom. every piece is numbered. from carbs to bottom case has been split. Think i can run with the machzs there 800 tripples.
u better fix that rpm before going there

mod i have a spare set of bu10s if you want to try em to see if you like em. just pay postage both ways. not looking to sell em, but if you like to try a set before you look for some....
