Lightweight brake & Hub Question

(Who has the lightest brake & hub set-up),,, and is it worth

the time and money,,,(for a Mtn. Viper 2003),,,weight

means alot here in the steep & deep....(I have only seen

the bender & Maxximum kits).......(Do they ever fail??,,,.......)
Brakes are important too.....What are the costs''and is performance still there,,,,,,thanks

no problems with mine in 5 seasons, and Ijust put one on the Rx from Mtn Performance

I just installed a wave rotor and aluminum hub from HPE. Save's about 2 pounds. I only have one ride in so far, so far so good though. It's hard to say if it's made a performance difference, since I made several changes to the sled at the same time.

its my understanding that rotating weight is worth 10Xs that of regular weight, so that actually is like a 20 lb savings.... i havent done it either, but have thought about it.... i have had no problems with any items from maxximum performance, so i would buy theirs if i were to add it to my viper

i changed to a lite wieght hub from bender and a lighter roter i was able to get from a friend around 4 years ago no problems at all and saved big time wieght to boot.

rotating mass is worth alot more 'cause it's harder to "spool up" for flinging it around and getting stuck I don't think it's that much of a difference tho.
