79 Exciter Glh 485

had lots of guys askin about my mods i made to this sled, so here goes.

this is a 79 exciter 440 that has phazer cylinders, vmax 500 carbs, SRX airbox, and a PSI phazer pipe. the heads are stock exciter 440 but have been
turned to 72mm. it runs on regular pump gas. i have a 121" track, early phazer rear suspension, phazer rear style bumper. the seat is a exciter/phazer hybrid. enjoy these pics...

How much HP? A guess?? I have a 76 440 exciter I use for oval racing. Our rules allow 500 and under fan. this mod makes good sense dep on the HP est. Same stroke/ignition??

in race trim this combo can make 85 hp easy if you want to push it 9o-95 hp is obtainable but the motor will not live long
