Broke a starter rope and it went back inside the case - upon removal of the case the spring flew apart and I had to reassemble. After numerous attempts I saw a method using a nail driven into a workbench and some zipties to wrap around the compressed spring and viola! Just want to confirm I have the rest of this stuff in right before I reinstall. In case you cant see it the tang on the spring is on the lower part of the pawl.

I just did mine a few days ago and I don't believe that brass washer was on top of the plastic piece, but thats not to say mine is 100% correct. edit-according to a schematic yours is correct, now I have to look at mine again. I can't get the link to work properly but maybe you can find from here.
Was that spring fun or what?

When we were playing with it at my buddy's cabin, it really sucked. However, using the nail and zipties I talked about above it took about 5 min max and I got it on my 1st try. Amazing considering how much we fought with that thing.
These things must really hate very cold weather. The track always gets frozen and the pull start is very difficult. Temps were below 0 the 1st night and probably single digits the next.
