Hi, have a 98 700XTC and want to add reverse. I looked online, part number is 8cr-47590-01. What is the difference between that part and 8AB-47590-02-00. (both are 47590, but the 8ab and 8cr what I am questioning. )
The 8AB-47590-02-00 is supposed to fit 94-96 vmax 500/600, wondering if this will fit into mine.

No, it want fit. You need the 8CR.

Yes you need 8cr.The 8ab is for different chassis altogether.
