This might be the wromng area to post this, if so sorry.
Anyways, bought a secondary clutch for my 96 Vmax, but its to wide to to bolt onto my driveshaft. It has the numbers/letter 8CA2 on it. Thanks for your help.

Did you check in the TY Tech sections? I believe they have a page that has the clutch numbers on it. But I could be wrong...

take a look at the splines inside the secondary if its the reverse cam style secondary that would have been factory on your sled. the one that fits your sled will have splines almost to the end of the shaft. on the 97 and up secondaries the splines will end about 3/4" inside. i have seen the same casting numbers on both sheaves and the shaft splining be different. thats the only way i can tell them apart.
if this is the case on your secondary, i would gladly swap you out a fixed sheave that will fit your sled.
