if i take off slow or ride in a tight area and give it just enough throttle to engage the clutch it kind of chatters and doesn't grab completely, kinda jerky i guess you could say, anyone know what i'm talking about, or know what it may be??.. on a lighter note i got to put my first 100+ miles of the year on wed.

did you check out your belt? A worn or bad belt can give that feeling. Also make sure your clutches are clean.

I agree with edunn. An hourglassed belt will give that sensation on a slow engagement. It's that type of gentle engagement in tight areas that causes the belt to be burnt in the first place, that or a frozen track when first taking off.

thanks guys i think my belt is pretty worn out, i don't know what the clutches are like, i'll go out and check it out, can you clean them with out taking them apart?? if so any suggestions?
