46 (joy fulled) years old...............not FIRST SLED WAS A 70-71? YAMAHA 338 NO SPEEDO NO TACH TOP SPEED AGAINST A CAR WAS 50 WOO HOOO!

Male 26 yrs old, my first sled was a 1977 John Deere spitfire 340cc free air.
 
I'll turn 45 this June. Everybody is still wondering when I'll grow up. My first ride was on a '69 292 SnoJet (mom's). Dad had a 340(I think) hirth SnoJet. The first one I owned was '72 292 Lynx. Been riding since I was 4.

I've been a snowmobiler since my first time in 1960 on an Autoboggan[Yes a Polaris!] My first race was in 1965 on a Sno Cruiser! I've raced and owned OMC, Moto Skiis, Polaris, John Deere + Yamahas in Oval, Crosscountry, and Snow drags up until 2008.
My first Yamaha was a 1979 SRX and so far I have owned an additional 10 Yamahas, from 440s to 800s, my current daily rider is a slightly massaged 2002 SRX...no 4 strokes...yet!
 
27 years old, hometown: Conception Bay South Newfoundland. Currently in Cold Lake, Alberta. Only been snowmobiling for 3years now.

some hack job....... cut it, choped it, and ruined almost everything Yamaha built!!!!

now Im getting a lesson in restoring a sled....... with the help of a few friends!!!
