A friend lending his support in Gies' hospital room had a different suggestion: "Next time, wear sunglasses."
Love my sunshade in my BV2S helmet. Have them down 95% of the time when when riding during the day. Saves the strain on my eyes from the glare of the snow.

bluemonster1 said:hate to say it but people are dying on snowmobiles..There was another casualty again South of Winnipeg, this fellow died hit some construction materials..
Yep but the amount of fatalities or injuries pales in comparison to most winter activities. Downhill skying has the most. Its just better news when a snowmobile is involve.

just found out the guy killed was 47 years old...his wife will miss him.You should read some of the comments on these stories.A lot of people say to ban snowmobiles, others say they should not be allowed to cross highways.Others say they should just be put in a certain area where there are no roads they can encounter.I think the future in sledding will get tougher if they increase laws and regulations, some trails may be closed and price to ride(ie:insurance and passes) will go higher to a point it won't be worth it to ride. For sure if gas goes up any more.it will be hard to ride.My premium here is costing me over $5 a gallon already..I am rationing my rides now a little..

Posters on news paper articles comment sections are seldom what I'd refer to as 'critical thinkers'. Most of them just want to be spoon fed their opinion of the day.
