1) M-10's ride nice but scrub top end and acceleration

2) pipes? Where do we start? The Viper is not as easy to pipe as the SX700/600 red head triples were. The Viper has a staggered compression ratio in the head, the head doesn't cool that well, doesn't have a rear heat exchanger and the timing has a hard advancement around 8500 rpm and most pipes go past that around 8800-9000. Proper setup is very crucial to running a piped Viper or you will pay the price. Personally if you are not real mechanical at this point I would beware.

3) clutching, send me a PM and I will give you suggestions. Mine is dialed.

PM sent ;)

53/43 helix and green secondary, thats the standard that a lot of people use. it is fast and cheap to do. an easy setup with better pull all around. I find it great on the trails, and no harsh engagement at all.
and yeah, the pipes can be hard to tune and then you are looking to set them for the temps you are running in or risk a burndown. and your mileage suffers as well. I like the mono as it rides well and no loss of top end or acceleration. I find it to transfer and thus accelerate better actually

Clutch will be my first thing I wanna do. As I told journeyman it climbs quick to 85 then climbs pretty slow. I assumed a fast 0-100 but not much after that.

on my speedo I have seen 115, never had it on gps. but it does pull hard and has plenty of low end, mid, and decent top end pull. and it took like 10 minutes to install.

Miles are definately fine, and it looks like it was well taken care of. Clean engine, tunnel with no corrosion etc. Just make certain to keep it mantained yearly and you'll get alot more miles out of it. Seems like a pretty good deal too----Congrats.
I am in the process of upgrading to an Apex, but decided there's no way i can get rid of the Viper because it is way too fun so decided to keep as an extra. Enjoy.

I had a local graphics guy do the numbers for my Viper. He matched them pretty close to the red/white and black of the 02 ER.They blended in so well I had a cop looking right at my hood ask me where my #s were.
