I was a little shocked to find this when inspecting my sled follwing a day of riding. The trails were brutally rough, I was leading all day, and running pretty fast despite the bumps. I was still shocked to see the rail cracked, I figured the W arm would go first.
rx1 skid arrives today...hoping to have it in by the time the days over.

You were lucky there. That could have really made a mess.
before you ruin that track, you should remove the studs on the outside and install them on the inside or add enough to fill every bar outside. That stud pattern is a track killer.
second, when you get the rx skid, use the side arms from your sx skid, they are alot better. There is alot more you can do to the skid below but that would be the easiest way to make it better.

Defintely Lucky! Everything happens for a reason, we were upset the weather turned and we were unable to sled. But had it not turned, we never would have had the sled in the garage, thawing out and going over everything. So yes luck was on my side.

Appreciate the advice. The skid I am just going to install as is, when it comes out this summer for service I will make some changes, paint some parts, etc. and look into swapping the side arms. I am just in a hurry to get this thing back together now. They are getting dumped on in Northwest Indiana/Lower Michigan and I am trying to get it together for the upcoming weekend.

I replaced the lower shock mount on my SX with an Rx1 which has a thru bolt design and stronger so when the front shock gets weak and hammers a bend in that front bar it doesnt take out both rails like that.
