Need help...hood cable

I am fixing my buddies 94 vmax 600 twin...his hood got crunched and I found him a new one. Everything is back together but I don't know where the cable attaches to the sled to keep it from flipping forward(he already had the hood off). Thanks in advance.

If I remember right doesn't it Y on its way to the hood and then hook on both sides somewhere near the stiffeners? I will check on mine tonight when I get home.

Checked on my 96 vmax xt last night and it hooks to the bolts on the side reflectors on each side of the hood.
