Thanks for all your responses guys. All the advice you guys gave me made sense, both for scrapping it and for fixing it. It's really 50/50. I can justify scrapping it and I can justify fixing it. There doesn't seem to be a 100% right answer. I guess it's just one of those things that comes down to preference. So I decided I like it enough that I am going to try to fix it. If anyone is bored and wants to read how I came to that decision the whole story is posted at http://www.totallyamaha.net/forums/showthread.php?t=77539
Thanks again for all your insights. It really helped me in my decision,
Wayne
PS. I also appreciate the contact #s for the parts in case I'm not able to find something on here.

My buddy toasted mine much similar to yours a couple of years ago, but I lost the hood, cracked the lower plastic, and crushed 2 pipes too. Bought all the parts used including the hood from harness racer. He is in eastern Ontario. He had everything I needed. $1100. in parts. Had a local guy weld the lower plastic. I am surprised he didn't respond to you. I thought shipping would be expensive, but he ships by bus and it was very cheap. I am only in western Ontario, but still about 500k away. Yours isn't as damaged as mine was so you should get away with under $800. in parts. If your trailing arm mount is bent though you may be best to part it out.
