98 Vmax XTC 700 recommended Gas?

Just wondering if my 98 Vmax recommendation was for Premium or Regular gas..THANKS!

I would use premium, unless it wasn't available. Then I would take it easy until I got some.

At some stations the high octain is sitting alot longer than the regular and it can be stale. I had a bad experience with high octain on my XTC last year. In extreme cold weather conditions it is good insurance, but not needed, and normally it is not needed unless you have modded your sled. Here is the thread.

I always run regular in all my sleds with no problems. Used to run high octane until I too heard the horror stories of that stuff sitting in the tank at the station for months sometimes so by the time you get it it has already started to go stale.

Just remember that when you use regular gas, you are probably getting ethanol too... Which if you don't let you sled sit alot between rides, you might be OK.
