Hey, does anyone have a good idea of what a 1994 750 4cyl. Vmax in running condition is worth? Cosmetics are good, come with spare everything but a 2nd engine. Exp. carbs, cowel (in very nice shape!).
I thought I heard it said that they were a collectable sled?
Thanks,
the twins!

A clean good running 1994 Vmax-4 should be worth 15-1700. They have a loyal following at vmax4.com. Check out the site as there is a HUGE amount of info on that sled there.

ALLSEASONRIDER said it pretty much right, but depending on how nice it really is, 2K probably wouldn't even be a bad price to pay....How many miles are on it? 94's seem to be a little harder to find aswell, so you may have something there....

I disagree. I would expect a decent 94 with average miles to be around $1200. For $1500 to $1700, you can get an SX with trailing arm suspension all day in West Michigan. I am not aware of much collector value of these sleds and I'm a vintage Yamaha guy.
Of coures the bottomline is its worth what someone will pay. If you like it and want it, then make an offer for what its worth to you.

1200 would be a steal for a clean 94 Vmax4..but we're only talking about a couple hunski different....SX is a TOTALLY different sled (had a 2001 SX-R for 8 yrs) and is definitely a better trail sled.
I will not let the V4 go though...it is the big block muscle car version of a snowmobile....bad gas mileage and all!
I too, am a Yamaha guy but don't consider the Vmax4 old enough yet to be vintage...it will be a while before there will be serious value on these and the 800 will always be preferred by collectors in my opinion....
