1999 2000 SRX Difference?

I was told there was a few big changes from the 1999 to 2000 SRX. Any input to the differences would be appreciated. Thanks!

The thumb warmer control is the same as 98/99 but everything else stated is different and if you asked this question to decide which one to buy if it were me I'd go for the 2000.Like was stated better ignition and with the engine differences they get about 5-8 more hp depending on what dyno sheet your looking at.

The jetting was a different. The tunnel and trailing arms were not blue on the 2001's.

Seperate hand/thumb warmer controls on '01
Decals
Silver tunnel and trailing arms on '01
I believe windshields...'00 came w/blue bottom and I believe the '01's were all clear.
Main jets different
Pilot jets different
Black dash on '01 versus blue on '00
Black panel by warmer controls on '01 versus blue on '00
Wiring harness plug-in for cdi box
Some of the wiring

My '01 came with a black windshield... but I replaced it with a functional (taller) clear one with blue bottom.

I doubt it. I don't think you have a '00 srx. '00 srx's came w/blue tunnel and blue trailing arms. Maybe the previous owner of the sled told you the wrong year.

Well... I never registered the sled in my name yet 'cause the stickers are good thru this season. I will look at the card and the sled this coming weekend as the bunch of us will spend Thursday night thru Sunday morning sledding on Lake Koshkonong and Rock River (SC Wisconsin).
They just got good 6" of snow on top of few from last week!
That would be a surprize to me if it is 2001 SRX.

ya, its a 2000, just that someone changed the radius rod and tr. arm color, they were blue when it was new. some things i see that tell me 2000 from your pic is

guage pod blue
windshield clear/blue
2000 decals on hood
2000 seat with black side bolsters,only year to have this
blue tunnel
