no, the hood graphics are not the same for a 2000 and for a 2001, the 2000 like you have is a charcoal grey color on the side lettering, and the 700 triple id stickers. The 2001 is a blue /white lettering. You just have had the big white strobes removed off your hood and the tr. arms and radius rods have been either repainted silver or replaced, simple as that, you take that check to the bank!

I believe you, just wondering aloud. I talked to a seller in WI of a 2000 SRX and asked why his '00 sled's suspention is all blue, that seemed weird to me.
My sled is all slammed down as for lake racing. Last season I was just happy that it ran strong. With problems, but spark plug change seemed to fix that. This year it started and ran fine. But sparkplugs are black so who knows what else I will find out.
