95 vmax 600 plastic ski converson

ok i found a set of plastic skis from a 2002 venture for 50$ but they are saddle-less can i make these work or am i wasting my cash and time???
 
Probably won't work. I bought a pair of saddle-less Nytro skis for mine and determined they wouldn't work after looking more closely at them. Use RX-1 or Viper skis with the aluminum saddles.

SKi-doo flex ski's work have a set on my XT and another going on my DX picked up the last set for $80 shipped :) very similar mod, i put silicon in the plastic to prevent the ski from tipping to far forward (its clear and you can't even see it looks great).
You cut down the shaft like the Rx1 and put new shims in we make our own that slip in to the whole in the saddle as well which you will want if you have the ability.
 
I just got a 95 Vmax and the guy had a brand new pair of SLP ski's to go with it. I traded him a 94 Olds Bravada for it and told him if he wanted to trade straight up for it he had to put the ski's on.

So the 'ol 95 Vmax has SLP skis on 'er, how he engineered it I do not know but only took him about an hour. I can take pictures if anyone is interested...

this is good info couple of freinds ride skidoo ill check with them just because im a cheap *** lol
 
Thats why i did it on the XT got a good deal then found another set for even less for the DX. I like them better then the kimpex on my dads 94.

As for the SLP he may have had the saddles for the 94-96 already.
 
If you are thinking of brand new I got a pair of slydog's for mine.

i have a question for the experts aroud here.

Today i did put plastic skis on my vmax 95 out of a RX-1.
All the job went good but one thing is missing in the page about
the modification you've shown before. I didn't put back any ski bumper under the spindles,is it bad for the suspension,bolt or saddles?
Cause on photos that explain how to do it,it seems there is no rubber between ski and spindles..
could someone light me up on this.. and if i have to put rubbers again,i just cut my old one to fit there?
