I was certain he said that the chain broke but the case was okay? Now I have to go look to confirm if I'm losing my mind or not.....
Maybe that was it Ian. And it was intermittently allowing the track to spin freely by hand, but never by throttle.crewchief47 said:

For future reference flipping the skis around, setting the back of the track on the tow sled's rear bumper and strapping it down works better than a sled under the track for towing a sled with an immobile track.
