Will a stator from a 00 sxr or venture 700 work on my 97 sx 700? Part numbers are close. Mine is 8CH-85510-00-00. The other 2 are 8CH-85510-02-00.

The one I have a 99-00 stator would not work the plug ins are diff for the 97

I guess I have to find out the hard way. Just ordered one on ebay from a 00 venture. Plug ins looked the same in the pic. Also bought a universal flywheel puller, hope its not a cheep piece of junk, I Didnt feel like making one from scrap.

Got the new stator in today and shes good to go. Plugged in fine and all the wire colors matched.
