im with you sled harleys are way to loud.........
In the days of being "PC" and "tolerant" of everyones beliefs, why is it snowmobilers are chastized and told to go away? The PC crowd seems to be a little one way. Overly loud pipes are obnoxiuos though.
I did the silencer mod on the wifes v-max 700 dlx.
It did just what I hoped it would do.....It took away that annoying resonance it had at lower rpms.
It now has a nice crisp sound to it and better throtle responce as well.
No way is it as loud as many other stock twin exhausts.
I also have a Viper pipe that I am going to try and install on her sled and will probably dump it into the stock (modded) v-max silencer.
If this works I will post tyheresults.
I heard there are some hp gains to be made with thr Viper pipe...whats the scoop...anyone dyno one???
