However I've been smokefree for the last month and in that time I had maybe one smoke that first week, not to mention I ride with 4 buddies and now im the only one who doesnt smoke! I wish u luck and you will appreciate not smelling like a bar lol and all the money u can save!

And I thought you were jumping to a 4 stroke.
Good luck
Good luck
I smoke a pack a day and when I ride it tends to be less. Started when I was 15, 25 now so 10 years, hard to believe. I've quit drinking, quit smoking weed and next will be these rotten cancer sticks. Deffinantly gonna be alot harder than the other two. Best of luck BlueM1.stealther27 said:I was up to half a pack a day and when Im out riding it was even more.

bm1... I smoked faithfully for 15 years. I was a pack to just over two packs a day smoker. Not proud of smoking for that long but I am to be able to speak of it in the past tense. A couple things that worked for me and may help you, or anyone else that is trying. Do the math on how many packs you smoked a week (and add one pack, cause every smoker buys the extra pack here and there they don't really count in their daily number ). Divide that number by five, then make a direct withdrawal from your checking/savings into a new checking account. Don't touch this account. We can all talk about how much we spend on the bad habit but wait and let yourself really see it. The other one will happen and will shock you, but take a strong mental note of it. You will be in the grocery store, bank, restaurant, who knows... but you will smell someone who reeks of smoke and you will feel nauseous. Remember that and remember how embarrassed you would feel to be that person so many others are repulsed by. Lastly was the clincher for me. My father said to me that he didn't get why I did it. He said........ So... it doesn't get you high, give you a buzz or get you drunk? So what's the point? Hearing it put like that kinda made me feel dumb for doing it.
First 3 months are the hardest. After that remind yourself how hard those first 3 months were and how you don't want to go back through them cause it will be easier at this point then the months before.
YOU CAN DO IT!!!

I am trying for sure..I know how much I spend on them cigs.I can't see myself doing that again....it is a process for sure..1 day at a time
Good for you blue!!!!
I quit a while back.... my trick was to convince myself of how bad they actually taste, and how they make me smell to others!!!
It really is a head game with yourself, if your convinced your going to quit you will!!!
Best of luck!!!
