water pump

I'm guessing thers a seal behind the water pump impellar, before i wreck it how does the impellar come off?

there is a sealing washer behind the nut holding the impeller on and a mechanical seal behind, the impeller

Thanks, looked at my old engine case and the bolt was still holding the impellar on, of course the impellar is rusted on my new engine case!
