Exciter 440 cooling fan

Hi, new to the site, looks like a good place to be.
Can anyone tell me if cooling fans are interchangeable between a 440 exciter and a 340 enticer? The exciter is a 77, the enticer..I think is an 80.

Nope they will not work. I had to replace mine quite awhile ago and you are looking at an EX, GP or a GS for a replacement. Trouble is the fans get brittle when they get old and I had bought a used one, which didn't last any time till it self destructed. New ones are obsolete too. I ordered a replacement before they became obsolete :-)
You may be able to find a dealer with some old stock though. Good Luck.
