So I bought a set of carbides for my 2000 SRX from (insert vendor's name here), and 3 of the 4 studs line up with the old ones, while the odd-ball stud lines up with the bolt that runs through the ski saddle and then through the actual ski - and not through the hole in the ski where the old stud went through.
At first I thought my sled must have skis on it from 98 or 99, instead of 2000 model, but when I checked it against another 2000 model, it is the same thing.
I rechecked the catalog listing and it is correct and matches what the package says and the invoice. Is there something here that I am missing - like just run it through the ski and the ski saddle- or is the wrong part?

If I remember how mine go in, it does go through the saddle.
Post a pic. Sounds very strange
