I Just had a shop build up my Viper seat I bought last year. Going on my 700 SX in the morning.

I just picked it up. Need to get some stencils. Feels great. Looks a little funny installed, but then again so do I. :WayCool:

think i need a tank bag know.

now that the seat is higher.when you hit something in the front and come to a stop..at least you'll have a better chance of clearing the windshield when you fly ovet..lol

Looks good..get some Yami logo's on it....

Great now I cant that that out of my head. I friend did that left his boots in the sled and cleared the windshield.

X2 on the tank bag. It will look much cleaner without seeing the difference in height between the tank and the seat. Other than that very nice ;)!

Just a little up date. Any of you riders that are old like me and have bad knees and back have this done. I rode 500 miles on this seat and never had any soreness in my knees or back. I was looking forward to 200 mile days. I let my friends take a short trip on it and they are having one made next year. Just sorry our season was so short.

seat

I thought about doing the same thing ..then decided to build me a seat riser instead. As you can see it fits great , looks great and works great . 100 % better than what it was. I just could'nt take the long rides with my knees shoved up in my chest!

your own design? mine is 4.5 inches in back and i welded extensions on to existing bolts ..for the front i made a retainer strap of galvinized flat stock and bent and mounted to existing tank bolts. It went together rather well!
