Speedo running behind

Did you install 8 tooth drivers? Is it a costsnt 25 mph difference, or does it get farther off the faster you go? Typically a normal speedo reads 15mph faster than GPS at 85 mph(speedo reads 95-100 and GPS shows 85mph). You could take your cable out and see if it is frayed. Also look at the ends of the cable, they should be square. Another piece to check is behind the sppedo drive cap. It is three nuts on the driveshaft and there is a 1-2 inch cable there. The gears that make the 90 degree turn could also be stripping out. Good luck.

It has the stock drivers on there whatever they are and where do I find the speedo drive cap? Is it on the driveshaft going to the brake? Sorry for the silly questions but I dont have much experience fixin my own sled. :bash:
