yes, a green is likely going to be faster then a silver in snow, you only want to apply just enough pressure to hang onto the belt in the secondary, so you have to play with the tension. keep in mind the less tension applied in the rear clutch, the faster the sled will go, you just have to find the sweet spot for your set up because it varys with traction, clutch set up, weight trnasfer, rider weight, etc.

I dont use a silver sec in snow, they work great in grass where you have gobs of traction and the race is very short. A green in the snow will usually be the ticket. i have been able to run a red at a higher wind as well, just depends on how aggressive the helix and front weights are. Its all about expeirmenting with springs and wind rates, sometimes a red at 90-100 will be very fast compared to a green at 70. No way to tell without testin and takin notes...sorry

Ok now that I have my sled running decent I did take 800 stock yesturday out 13 sleds, but my question is I don't seem to have the top end like it use too will going from 21/40 too 21/39 or 23/38 help get me back the top end my RPMS are spot on 4200 engagement 8100 launch, 660ft mark 8400
I'm running heelclicker 40-10by 64grams total weight, HC red spring with a 50/38 dalton helix yamaha red spring wrap at 90 ;)!

What drivers are you running with that 1.75" track? I have a 144" x 1.5" cross country on one of my SXs. I went to 8 tooth extrovert drivers because I didn't like the track clearance with the front heat exchanger and the sled still pulls hard on top.
If you still have the stock 9 tooth drivers I would suggest you are having track rubbing and clearance issues that would really hurt your top end.

Stock drivers with 1/2 clearence but did notice some track noise which could result in rubbing in the tunnel area
