i think my oil pump is pumping way too much oil. i go through a tank of oil to a tank of gas . i checked the cable it is set at 25mm dead on . i checked the plugs they are tan to light brown. both plugs are burning the same. is a tank of oil per tank of gas normal or is there something i am missing like another adj. ?

It sounds like your oil pump has failed. When Yamaha oil pumps fail, they fail "wide open" to protect the motor. I would follow the cable to the pump and investigate there.

i think i might plug the lines and premix. i think it is 40:1 correct me if i am wrong.
