97 Xt / Sx

Anybody know if I can take the rear suspension and the front shocks out of an XT and put them onto an SX with no other alterations?

Search "Long Travel" . Should find quite a few posts dealing with this exact thing

I just put long travel front shocks off a viper on my sx. You have to remove the shock mount the top off the sx shocks bolt onto, its just held on by 2 bolts. Then you have to use washers or a bushing off the xt, for the gap at the top of the shock. I have washers on mine and so far they have worked great.
