SLP piped Viper mileage trouble

i have been averaging 10 mpg with a stock viper, mild clutching for the weekend races, (even though i get my *** handed to me haha) but i'd like to say that i've ridden with other vipers that will get 12-13 mpg's, i personally think it's where my right thumb is at that effects my mpg the most, just food for thought

Idk why but i ride hard one day and easy the other day and i still get 10mpg both times.

I was just wondering what your carb set up is I am putting bender pipes on my sled and I would just kind of like a starting point?? thanks
