It was kinda funny to see the way " the Chicago Police" are portrayed through the eyes of "hollywood".!! There was a lot of truths that went on " back in the day" that ,,I think,, after watching it,, they are trying to recreate... Which is NOT NECESSARILY how it is today !! There was a scene when the "perp" ( and they don't use the word "perp" ) told the officer about sleeping with his mother and his sister in a threesome.. If you talked to a police officer like that in Chicago,, He'd BUST YOUR HEAD WIDE OPEN and the ambulance would pick you up and take you to the county hospital... then say that you fell down the stairs while he was trying to subdue you !!! As far as a decent, entertaining show,,, they did a good job and Hopefully I'd watch it next week,, but,, I didn't set my recorder to record it !!!! WADDAYA think ???

my wife and I watched it and thought it was kinda good.It is a little different then other cop shows.I tried watching Hawaii Five 0 and didn't turn me on to keep watching.The Chicago Code will get me on the couch for a Monday night and the it is WWE Monday Night Raw after that...lol

Too many cops get gunned down here in Chicago.. The gangsters are ruthless !!! They come in FULL FORCE when they come... The gangs have more sophisticated weapons than the police do and the gangs aren't afraid to use it !!! The police are afraid of getting lawsuits. The bangers aren't afraid of lawsuits !!

nosboy why do you make it sound like you cant even walk out your door in chicago without getting shot at ?? chicago is like any other city with 3,000,000 people, its gots its good and its got its bad parts , if you actually live in chicago you must live on the west side the way you talk about chicago. and in the last six months there have been alot of police shooting nationwide not just chicago. i was born and raised in chicago, wouldnt trade it for anything (just wish it was closer to the u.p.)..... chicago connection is a MOVIE. does anyone believe the shield was a real portrail also ??

...I live on the west side of a little neighborhood called ENGLEWOOD... Puts the "west side" to shame.. I live in the Marquette Park neighborhood which is connected to ENGLEWOOD... Used to be mostly LITHUANIAN IMIGRINTS till about 1980 or so,, then it went downhill,, STEADY DOWNHILL !!! Yes. I live in the "city" and have lived here all of my life. I've been a precinct captain for a number of years and "helped the orginization" since I was 10 years old when my father was the precinct captain !!! Except for the downtown and NORTHWEST SIDE,,, the city is pretty much a SHiTHolE!!!! I'm NOT comparing it to another BIG CITY because I don't live there,, I live HERE in Chicago... DOn't get me wrong,, I LOVE IT HERE and wouldn't trade it for ANY OTHER CITY in the world.. You've pretty much CORRECT if you assume that.. During the daylight it's pretty much allright,, but,,, you don't sit in your front window at night time !!! my 2 daughters aged 21 and 26 went to Chicago last year for one of their concerts there.They enjoyed it,but admit they didn't walk around to far at night because it felt a little concerning to them..but threy would go back they told me..go figure..eh!!
