viper needle shims

Could some one tell me where the plastic shims and metal shims go for the stock needle position. i am running 156.3 main/#45 pilot/clip position 4 with 2 plastic shims under the e clip and 2 metal on top and plugs are still light grey after a nice rip. Should i go down to 5 on clip position and raise main to 157 any thoughts? Thanks, Dan

Are you stock? stock position is 3.

Its all stock with some clutching and lite porting! Does moving the clip down richen or lean? Thanks, Dan

Moving the clipdown which raises the needle up allows for more fuel and richens the mixture. Keep in mind the clip only effects the lower range of throttle operations.
