Hi all, I'm new here and I'm converting my 97 vmax sx 700 to a 136" track. I picked up a 97 Mountain Max 136" skid but I need to know the mounting hole distance from the front mount to the middle for new holes. Can anyone help out with these. I would also like to lower the rear mounting holes to give a little more clearance. I have all of the tools and machines to make brackets if someone can give me some distances to use.

That might be a direct bolt in. That's what I had heard about the early MM skids, but someone else can verify that.
you might want to post this in the mountain sled section or do a search there.

It's not a direct bolt in, that's for sure. With the two skids sitting next to each other, the middle and rear mounts are the same distance apart, but the distance from the front to the middle is roughly 8" further apart. I'll post in the other section and see what I get back, thanks.
