Some friends of mine lost all the keys to there sleds(most likely kids over the summer, since they never remove them). Whats my best bet for replacement? Can I have new keys made? I found a code on each of the ignitions. Thanks

There are good locksmiths who can make copys of the keys with just the ignition. I have had one made for a quad before, and have had a friend have one made for a snowmobile by a local guy, and they worked perfect.
If you have the code, some dealers can cut the keys so I have heard. They can all order keys from that number. If you pull the lock cylinder out, you can use a screwdriver to start them untill they get the keys in.

your local Yamaha dealer is able to order those keys with that code. for what they are, they are kinda pricey

I'd prolly just buy used ignitions that have keys. They are easy to find for anywhere from $5-20.

I think the blanks are fairly cheap and locksmith should be able to cut them with the code, my dad does some locksmith work and he was able to cut a spare set for mine based on the numbers, but its a cut and test process to make sure they work so you would want someone local to do it if possible.
I beleive yamaha is all different between the sleds for the most part, however AC had generic keys on some of the sleds not sure if that is still the case.
