i have a 2000 700 sx, 141 mountain max skid, power inc tripples, 21/40 gears. Blew a piston las week while the top end is apart wondering if porting can be done by myself (pretty mechanically inclined) had seen some port specs on tech pages. If i do this would i have to re-clutch, i know will have to rejet anything else i would have to change? Or is it better to get a pro to do porting, and how much am i looking at for porting, i am way up north in saskatchewan canada. Would like more power but pretty small budget too lol, and this is my trail/lake sled
