Seemed like a simple, respectful question that would have warranted a simple, respectful answer.
Oh well.
Not knowing where the throttle stop was set at (i.e. is the slide as far down as it'll go?), it looks to me like the overbore went beyond the slides ability to close off the bore at the three and nine o'clock position and that's were the unmetered leak is.
But if I understand SSB's post about boring the carb in an oval to avoid taking too much off the bottom of the bore, what's left is taking material off the 12, 3, and 9 o'clock positions. Or perhaps taking small amounts off the sides and the majority off the top?
Anyhow, that's my take.
