Hello I just bought a 1997 Vmax 700 with no sway bar and it is seems to be really tippy with out it. Anyways I ordered one and was wondering what it takes to install one? Does the engine need to come out? Any help would be awesome. Thanks

no need to take the motor out. You just need to take the rivets out of the plates on either side. You might want install new plastic bushings while your at it. It will be hard to get all 4 rivets out of each side because one of the rivets is up under the plastic side belly piece, but you can do it. You might want to just remove the 3 you can get at and then carefully bend the at piece up to take the bushings out to get the sway bay in place. Then put the bushings in and bend the retainer back in place and re-rivet.
