boyseen power reeds

i put boyseen power reeds in my sled, the instructions that came with them said to drop my main jet one size, so i did. top end power is good, still got that low - mid range burble, should i raise the clip on the needle ? the sled is stock except reed spacers. its a 1998 600 twin

I dropped the needle .5. better midrange performance but it idles low now , around 800 rpm.
what can i do to get the idle speed back up ? also i am at sea level and the temp is around 0 - -5 . so if im understanding what i am reading it should be ok for me to make it a little more lean. is this right ?

Just raise idle using idle screw.........
