98' SRX has a ton of oil all over the exhaust side. It looks like the problem is the power valve cables are leaking. Is there a fix for this?
Change your o-rings inside the valve housing should fix your problem

Is there anything special about them? I have an O-ring kit with hundreds of different sizes in it. If these are just O-rings I can fix it today while the motor is on the bench. tks doug

After looking at the part online... it looks like it's a custom oil seal. No fixing that on the bench today. Thanks, Doug
I bought o rings at a farm implement dealer. 7 cents each lol. Wonder what yamaha wants for them. Look like just an ordinary o ring to me.
theres a seal in the housing and a o-ring on cable, I would replace both.
Had the same problem. There is an oil seal on the engine side of the pv housing that needs to be replaced.
Had the same problem and it was leaking oil because of a pull thru.

X2 - if it's getting past the o-ring, it's getting past the seal.
